Kasymaliev emphasized that the opportunity to host the Youth World Ice Hockey Championship in Bishkek is not only a great honor for Kyrgyzstan but also a confirmation of trust from the IIHF, which demonstrates the country's reliability as a partner in the sports sector.
He also noted that sports have a unifying power and expressed confidence that the youth national team will be able to continue the successful development demonstrated by the national team since 2022. The head of the Cabinet of Ministers added that the state will support the development of winter sports, including the modernization of sports infrastructure and the training of athletes.
At the end of the meeting, Franz Reindl and Clifton Rottsteli were awarded Honorary Certificates from the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic for their significant contribution to the development of international ice hockey.
