The competitions, which involved teams formed from residents of various ayil aimaks, started on January 19, 2026. For two months, the teams competed for the title of the best.
The final games determined the prize places as follows:
- Champion – the team from the ayil aimak named after Z. Kainazarova;
- Second place – the team from the ayil aimak Kozhomkul;
- Third place – the team from the ayil aimak Sary-Ozon.
Additionally, the judges highlighted the best players of the tournament:
- "Best Player" — Ermek Jumabekov from the ayil aimak named after Z. Kainazarova;
- "Best Defender" — Aizimkul uulu Azizbek from the ayil aimak Sary-Ozon;
- "Best Forward" — Imankhan uulu Azamat from the ayil aimak Kuntuu;
- "Best Horse" — a horse named Magnus from the ayil aimak Kozhomkul.
The Akim of the Sokuluk District presented the awards. The winners and prize holders received medals, cups, and diplomas, as well as cash prizes for their achievements in both individual and team categories.
The kok-boru championship in the Sokuluk District has become a traditional event held annually to promote national sports and strengthen the unity of local residents.
