According to the ministry's press service, this meeting was a continuation of the online conference that took place on January 27. Representatives from the Austrian Agency for Economic Cooperation and Development, as well as various partner organizations and educational institutions from Austria, participated in it.
The agenda included a project to create a tourism school in the Ak-Su district, located in the Issyk-Kul region. The Kyrgyz delegation proposed to provide financial and methodological support for the construction and development of this new educational structure, as well as for training personnel for mountain tourism.
Mattiaschitz expressed his readiness to continue discussions and voiced support for this initiative, adding that funding issues would be discussed with Austrian state and private institutions.
Kendirbaeva emphasized that the implementation of such initiatives creates new opportunities for the development of tourism education and strengthening international cooperation.
