He noted that there is an acute shortage of educational places in Bishkek and Osh. The capital plans to construct 20 new schools, while Osh plans to build 10. Nevertheless, the deputy believes that this is not enough to resolve the existing situation.
“I am not sure that simply building new schools will completely eliminate the problem. Parents still strive to send their children to the best educational institutions. In Bishkek, for example, schools such as No. 61, No. 26, and No. 13 are in high demand, accepting students from different districts, which leads to overcrowding. I propose that the new schools be granted the status of branches of already well-known and successful educational institutions, such as a branch of school No. 61 or No. 26. This will increase trust from parents and enhance the desirability of these institutions,” the deputy emphasized, highlighting the importance of parental psychology in choosing a school.
