The board meeting, held on February 18, was dedicated to issues of socio-economic development in the Chui region for 2026.
Kyshtobaeva presented a report on the results of the social block's work in the region for 2025.
According to her, to increase the coverage of preschool education, 36 additional groups were opened in 27 kindergartens, allowing for the enrollment of 955 children.
As part of the pilot project on the voucher mechanism, the documents of 47 children were checked, and currently, vouchers have been issued to 41 children.
The deputy also noted that there are 299 kindergartens operating in the Chui region, providing education for 35,667 children and employing 1,398 educators.
As part of the implementation of the 12-year education program "Altyn Kazyq," by 2025, 3,609 laptops were provided to teachers, and an electronic diary was introduced. Additionally, textbooks for the first, second, fifth, and seventh grades were purchased, which were supplied with new educational materials.
The quality of school education in the region was 41%, which is 0.7% higher compared to the 2023-2024 academic year, Kyshtobaeva noted.
