During the parliamentary session on February 25, Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, Sovetbek Rustambek uulu, raised alarming issues related to the social and infrastructure situation in the Nookat and Uzgen districts of the Osh region.

He noted that in the period of 2024–2025, 11 municipal kindergartens were opened in the Nookat district. However, local budgets have not yet received the necessary funds, which has led to 164 employees of these institutions not receiving their salaries for January and starting to complain.

Additionally, the deputy mentioned a similar situation in the Bash-Döbön rural government of the Uzgen district, where workers are also awaiting salary payments.

Rustambek uulu also addressed the problem of one of the areas in the Zulpuyskiy rural government, which has been recognized as a village. This settlement has a population of 1,120 people and 160 houses, but lacks social facilities such as a kindergarten, school, health post, and sports hall.

The deputy emphasized that there is also an acute issue with providing drinking water in the village. The rural government has developed a project for the construction of a clean water line amounting to 13 million 500 thousand soms. He called for the inclusion of funding for this project in the republican budget.
