Inspections aimed at identifying schools with poor technical conditions and assessing their current state have begun in the Kyrgyz Republic. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Construction.

To carry out these activities, a special interdepartmental commission has been created, headed by the State Institute of Seismic Resistant Construction and Engineering Design, operating under the Ministry of Construction. The commission includes specialists from the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as representatives of local authorities.

Currently, the commission's work is focused on the Osh region, where a group of experts is conducting on-site inspections of school buildings with unsatisfactory technical conditions, analyzing their compliance with construction norms and safety standards.

Based on the results of the inspections, conclusions will be drawn for each facility, on the basis of which further decisions will be made and necessary measures to improve the situation will be determined.

The Ministry of Construction emphasized that these activities are aimed at ensuring the safety of citizens, increasing the reliability of educational facilities, and systematically improving the quality of social infrastructure.
