Of this number, 76 facilities were built from scratch, while 41 underwent major renovations.
These construction works have created 17,000 additional places for students.
Baisalov also noted that over the past 5 years, from 2021 to 2025, 673 facilities were completed. Among them are 394 schools and 147 kindergartens, as well as major renovations of 114 schools and 18 kindergartens.
As of today, there are 2,394 general education schools in Kyrgyzstan, with 1,536,633 students enrolled. This is an increase of 45,800 students compared to 2024.
