
Experts from the Department of Chemicalization, Plant Protection, and Quarantine in the city of Osh conducted a training session where they demonstrated correct methods for soil sampling and explained the importance of their analysis. This information was announced at the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.
Stages of soil sampling:
Determining the location for sampling. Samples are taken from the four corners of the field and its central part. Choosing the depth of sampling. For most agricultural crops, samples are taken at a depth of 20–25 cm, while for some perennials, at a depth of 20–40 cm. Collection in a clean container. The collected soil is placed in a dry and clean container or a special bag. Sending to the laboratory. The sample is sent to the laboratory to determine its chemical composition.
