The Ministry of Natural Resources has published a statement denying information about a planned mass tree felling in the village of Bulan-Sogottu. The agency emphasizes that large-scale destruction of green spaces will not occur.

According to available data, a new modern park will be created in this area. For the arrangement of alleys and safe recreation zones, only selective cutting of those trees that hinder the construction of paths or obstruct the passage of vehicles and pedestrians is planned.

The Ministry stresses that its main task is to preserve the ecosystem:

- Ecologists and local authorities have already assessed each tree in the area.

- The majority of the existing green mass will remain untouched and will form the basis for the new park.

- Local residents have been presented with a project illustrating how the area will change.

- All work is under control and is being carried out in accordance with the legislation.

“The project provides for maximum preservation of green spaces. A modern park area will appear in this territory, safe and attractive for family recreation,” the official release states.
