- The official rate of the NB KR: 101.5382 soms (a decrease of 0.03 percent).
- In exchange offices, the average rate: buying — 101.08 soms, selling — 102.06 soms.
Russian Ruble:
- The official rate of the NB KR: 1.1256 soms (stability, which is rare for this currency).
- The average rate in exchange points: buying — 1.117 soms, selling — 1.142 soms.
Kazakh Tenge:
- The official rate of the NB KR: 0.1719 soms (an increase of 1 percent), which is a new high for December.
- In exchange offices, the average rate: buying — 0.1525 soms, selling — 0.1793 soms.
Chinese Yuan:
- The official rate of the NB KR: 12.3685 soms (an increase of 0.02 percent), marking the sixth consecutive update of the annual maximum.
