The expert recommends developing small settlements
In Bishkek, there is active construction of multi-apartment residential buildings on lands designated for industry. Both local residents and foreign investors are actively investing in residential development. But what will happen to the industry, which plays a key role in the economic development of the country?
According to Professor of Economic Sciences Asylbek Ayupov, the optimal solution would be to build factories and plants in small towns of Kyrgyzstan.
He noted: "Cities like Kant and Kara-Balta are ideal for establishing industrial zones. This will not only allow for the development of these settlements but will also create new jobs."
Regarding residential construction, the expert emphasized the importance of considering the existing limitations of urban infrastructure.
In his words: "It is necessary to remember the issues with electricity, water supply, and sewage. Therefore, a sound and justified approach is needed; otherwise, serious difficulties may arise in the future."
