More than 60% of frozen beef in Kyrgyzstan came from India

The import of beef from abroad over 11 months amounted to $3.9 million



According to the National Statistics Committee, more than 60% of the total volume of frozen beef that arrived in Kyrgyzstan came from India.


During the 11 months of 2025, the republic imported 1.21 thousand tons of meat, which cost $3.9 million. This is an increase of 3.5 times compared to the same period in 2024.


Among the main countries importing meat:


- India — 0.76 thousand tons (an increase of 11.6 times)


- Belarus — 0.14 thousand tons (growth of 3.5 times)


- Kazakhstan — 0.1 thousand tons (a decrease of 13.1%)


In addition, frozen meat was imported from Russia, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uzbekistan.
