During the report, it was noted that the total amount of electricity consumed was 19.3 billion kilowatt-hours. At the same time, electricity production amounted to 15.4 billion kilowatt-hours, of which:
- 12.9 billion was generated at large hydropower plants;
- 0.223 billion at small hydropower plants;
- 0.234 billion at mini-hydropower plants and facilities using renewable sources, including solar and wind power plants;
- 2.01 billion at thermal power plants.
In addition, last year the country imported 3.8 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity from abroad.
