In 2025, significant digitization of processes related to customs control was carried out in Kyrgyzstan.
The number of procedures for entrepreneurs was reduced: from 18 steps, it decreased to 9. Now the average time required to complete customs procedures is only 1 hour, and at some checkpoints, the processing takes just a few minutes. At the same time, the throughput has increased threefold, and this was achieved without increasing the number of staff.
Additionally, a Situational Center was established to monitor indicators in real time. The "Customs Transit" module was implemented, and since October 2025, nearly 2 billion soms in payments have been processed through the online payment system using a QR code.
