At the "B5+1" forum, Daniyar Amangeldiev, the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, noted that the format of this platform could serve as a practical tool for interaction with the United States on issues of standards, independent audits, compliance, and international regulation.
He emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is open to joint discussions and pilot projects with American regulators and technology partners.
“The Kyrgyz Republic believes that the development of correspondent relationships with U.S. banks is strategically important for maintaining a stable dollar infrastructure and conducting transactions through the SWIFT system in Central Asia,” he added.
According to Amangeldiev, this issue has been raised before, but now Kyrgyzstan is striving to relaunch cooperation based on clear rules, transparency, and compliance with the requirements of the U.S. compliance financial system.
He also mentioned the creation of favorable conditions in Kyrgyzstan for attracting qualified foreign specialists in the IT field.
“In particular, the 'digital nomad' program has been successfully implemented for U.S. citizens. Additionally, the Creative Industries Park and the High Technology Park are being developed, making the country more attractive for IT companies and innovative startups,” he concluded.
