During the meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, held today, Deputy Prime Minister Bakyt Torobaev discussed important issues regarding the country's development. According to the ministry, among the topics to be considered were key directions up to 2030, as well as the Cabinet of Ministers' action plan for 2026. The results of the Tourism Development Support Fund, the "Kyrgyzexport" Center, and a number of other relevant issues were discussed.
After the presentations, Torobaev presented his proposals regarding the effective use of industrial potential, the creation of a regional hub, the development of data centers that meet international standards, and the improvement of digitalization processes.
In conclusion, he noted that the Ministry of Economy and Commerce plays a central role in the implementation of projects and serves as the main channel for their presentation.
“The Ministry of Economy and Commerce should become a center for ideas that will generate large projects and present them on the international stage,” emphasized Bakyt Torobaev.
He also highlighted the need to maintain the established pace and course towards sustainable development.
