In 2025, there was an increase in funding for the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports by 13%. This was reported by the Deputy Director of the agency, Ulan Kydyrbaev, at a recent board meeting.
According to Kydyrbaev, the majority of the budget funds will be allocated for salaries:
- salary – 1 billion 62 thousand soms;
- utilities – 69.8 thousand soms;
- repair work – 3 million 15 thousand soms;
- sports development – 1 billion 163 million soms.
He also noted that in 2024, the total volume of funding amounted to 2 billion 141 million soms.
“In 2025, funding increased by 13% compared to 2024. This underscores the government's sustained interest in the development of sports and its commitments in this direction,” he added.
It is worth noting that the board of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, which discussed the results of 2025 and the work plan for the current year, took place today.
