
During the meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, the Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision, Asel Rayimkulova, reported that the mining industry contributed 217.9 billion soms to the budget of Kyrgyzstan over the past five years in the form of taxes and fees.
A record amount of revenue was recorded in 2025, totaling 65.4 billion soms.
From 2021 to 2025, the total gold production reached 141 tons, with annual production increasing to 26 tons.
Additionally, approximately 4 million tons of coal are mined annually in Kyrgyzstan.
