
From 2025 to 2030, a gradual increase in electricity tariffs is expected in Kyrgyzstan, which will occur in accordance with inflation indicators and without sharp price changes. This was stated by Timur Orozaliev, the director of the Department for Regulation of the Fuel and Energy Complex of the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic, in an interview with the program "Elden Sobol" on the Kabar agency.

“We are moving to the next stage of tariff policy. Currently, we have 7 categories of consumers, previously there were 14. For low-income families, the tariff will remain at 50 tyiyns per kWh within a limit of 700 kWh,” he added.New tariffs for various categories of consumers:
- For households consuming up to 700 kWh: the tariff will be 1 som 64 tyiyns (an increase of 27 tyiyns).
- For households exceeding 700 kWh: the tariff will be 2 soms 94 tyiyns (an increase of 34 tyiyns).
- For residents of high-altitude and remote areas: the tariff will be 1 som 64 tyiyns (an increase of 27 tyiyns).
- For social and public facilities (pumping stations, religious institutions, boarding schools, and institutions for people with disabilities and the elderly): the tariff will be 2 soms 96 tyiyns (an increase of 34 tyiyns).
- For industrial enterprises: 3 soms 65 tyiyns.
- For budget organizations: 4 soms 62 tyiyns.
- For commercial clients: 4 soms 33 tyiyns.
- For energy-intensive industrial enterprises: 6 soms 84 tyiyns.
- For electric vehicle charging stations: from May 1, the tariff will be 5 soms 99 tyiyns.
