
At the 53rd meeting of the Joint Board of Customs Services of the EAEU countries, the Chairman of the State Customs Service, Almaz Saliev, summarized the work done. According to him, 22 new decisions were adopted, the main goal of which is to simplify and increase the transparency of customs procedures, as well as to support legitimate business.
Among the decisions made are issues related to information exchange, supplementing data on transit, and exchanging shipping documents. It was also decided to share experiences on risk unification.
Additionally, the experience of controlling temporarily imported vehicles was discussed. Saliev added that the parties agreed on mutual exchange of experience in the area of supporting information systems, updating, and transitioning to full electronic declaration.
