According to the head of the district administration, an investment forum organized to enhance the tourist potential and development of the region has already taken place. During the event, issues related to improving the tourism, agricultural, and energy infrastructure, as well as attracting large investments, were discussed.
At the forum, projects planned for implementation in the rural districts of this area were presented. Among these projects are the construction of a recreation base in the Barskoon rural district with a total budget of 10 million dollars, the construction of a suspension bridge (асма көпүрө) in Barskoon, and the creation of a fruit storage facility in the Kyzyl-Suu rural district.
Ermek Bakhaevdinov noted that the successful implementation of these initiatives will lead to the development of the processing industry, tourism, and agriculture, as well as a significant improvement in the district's infrastructure. Additionally, this will create new jobs, increasing the employment level of the population.
The event was attended by both local and international investors who presented their projects. As a result of the forum, memorandums of cooperation were signed between local authorities and investors.
The akim is confident that the implementation of these projects will serve as a stimulus for economic growth in the Jeti-Oguz district, improve the living standards of local residents, and strengthen its position as one of the promising destinations for tourism and investment in Kyrgyzstan.
