For the replacement of the roof of the A. Kalmurzaev Secondary School, located in the village of Myrza-Ake in the Uzgen district, the allocation of 4 million 159 thousand 460 soms is planned.

The administration of the Myrza-Ake rural council has initiated a request for funding from a shared (incentive) grant.

According to information posted on the "Open Budget" portal, the local budget for 2026 includes 1 million 050 thousand soms of its own funds, while the need for the shared (incentive) grant amounts to 3 million 109 thousand 460 soms.

Problem description:

“The A. Kalmurzaev Secondary School was established in 1970. Over the course of 55 years, no major repairs have been conducted in the building. The roof is leaking, and the premises suffer from mold. The wooden doors and windows are in extremely worn condition. Due to leaks inside the classrooms, there is dampness and mold growth. The floors are subject to rotting and damage. The plaster on the walls is crumbling, and the building is in dire need of repair.”

It was previously reported that on November 20, 2024, at approximately 19:45, an explosion occurred in the boiler room of the Myrza-Ake school. As a result of the incident, the stoker was pinned down by a piece of wall.
