A new school opened in the village of Ana-Kyzyl in the Uzgen district

On November 11, a new school named after A. Omurzakov, designed for 275 student places, was opened in the village of Ana-Kyzyl, located in the Uzgen district of the Osh region. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Education.

High-ranking officials attended the ceremonial event, including Bakyt Torobaev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry, Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva, Minister of Education, Boobek Ajikeev, Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as the Akim of the Uzgen district, Kanybek Apbasov. Representatives from the district education department, teachers, and local residents were also present.

In his speech, Torobaev noted that Kyrgyzstan is focused on advancement through the development of education and human capital. "We strive to make the most of all available resources to improve the quality of education so that every child can realize their potential," he emphasized.

Kendirbaeva, for her part, described the new school as "Altyn Kazyq" and noted that the construction was carried out according to international standards. "We aim to create comfortable conditions in educational institutions and provide each teacher with a laptop. I am convinced that the state is managing this task," the minister added, expressing hope that the new educational center will open new horizons for children.

Additionally, she presented the new educational institution with 5 computers, while Lenin Secondary School No. 5 received 10 computers.

The construction of the school began in September 2024, and the total area of the building is 2,642.41 square meters, with the land plot covering 1.4 hectares.

The project was implemented with financing from the World Bank, and the estimated cost amounted to 176 million soms.
