The director of the institution reported that this academic year the school received new English textbooks for grades 3 to 9, which were printed according to the updated program. However, it turned out that the number of books for third grades in Russian-speaking schools was insufficient. In this regard, the district education department sent a request to the Ministry of Education for an additional supply of textbooks. The school is currently awaiting their arrival.
The methodologist of the Sokuluk district education department, Altynai Bolotkazievna, added that Sokuluk is one of the largest districts in Kyrgyzstan, and the number of students is growing every year. This year, a new school was opened in the village of Kozhomkul, which increased the demand for textbooks.
In connection with the above, an official request was sent to the Ministry of Education for additional books. "We hope that they will arrive in the coming days," the school administration reported.
It is worth noting that third-grade students in the village of Komsomolskoye, located in the Sokuluk district of Chui region, have been studying without English textbooks during the first quarter. Parents of the students reported that they were prohibited from purchasing books independently, as the Ministry of Education had previously assured that all schools were provided with the necessary educational materials.
