Previously, these items were housed in the school museum named after Kalik Akiev, located in the village of Kyzyl-Zhyldyz in the Jumgal district, which is currently closed.
The museum was established in 1996–1997 at the initiative of Kubanychbek Tultukov, who was the school director at that time. The main goal of creating the museum was to educate and train students. The residents of the village of Kyzyl-Zhyldyz actively participated in collecting exhibits — household items and cultural heritage of their ancestors. Significant contributions to this effort were made by history teachers: Sairagul Baydalieva, Bermet Aydieva, and Jazyl Nasirova.
Later, the school director Toktoshukur Mutaliev and history teacher Jazgul Kulmanbetova were involved in the collection's expansion and promotion. In recent years, the museum has been supported by Gulayim Orozozalieva and Ryskul Chimanova.
The current school director Kudaybergen Chalov noted that it is time to transfer the exhibits to the district museum.
“Now these exhibits will be under state protection in the Jumgal district historical and ethnographic museum under the guidance of Ainura Berdikeeva. I am confident that they will become an important part of the historical and cultural heritage and will serve as a source of knowledge for future generations, sparking interest among both Kyrgyzstanis and foreign tourists,” emphasized K. Chalov.
