A recent robbery occurred at the "House of Enlightenment Denis Diderot"

On the night following the theft at the Louvre, the museum "House of Enlightenment Denis Diderot," located in the French city of Langres, became a victim of robbery, according to media reports.

In the morning, museum staff discovered signs of forced entry on the front door and a shattered display case from which gold and silver coins from the collection had disappeared.

According to the local municipality, the criminals acted purposefully, stealing only a portion of the valuables and leaving other exhibits untouched. The investigation believes that the robbery was meticulously planned.

Reports indicate that the "House of Enlightenment Denis Diderot" has become the fifth museum in France to fall victim to thieves in the past week.

Last Sunday, nine pieces of jewelry were stolen from the Louvre, including tiaras, earrings, necklaces, and brooches belonging to French queens and empresses. One of the stolen items—a damaged crown of Empress Eugenie de Montijo—was found and returned to the museum. The estimated damage is 88 million euros.

A few days earlier, a theft occurred at the National Museum of Natural History in Paris, where gold nuggets were stolen. A Chinese national has been detained in connection with this case and is now in custody.

According to the CNews channel, there was also a robbery at the Adrien Dubouche Museum, where two Chinese dishes and a vase included in the national heritage registry were stolen. The damage from this theft amounted to 6.5 million euros.

Additionally, a robbery also took place at the Jacques Chirac Museum, where criminals took items and jewelry worth over a million euros.
