A new school for 275 students has been put into operation in the village of Ana-Kyzyl in the Uzgen district.

The village of Ana-Kyzyl, located in the Uzgen district of the Osh region, held a grand opening of a new secondary school on November 11, accommodating 275 students.

According to information provided by the regional representative office, the event was attended by high-ranking officials, including the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, Bakyt Torobaev, the head of the Osh region, Elchibek Jantayev, the Minister of Emergency Situations, Boobek Azhikeev, and the Minister of Education, Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva, who congratulated the local residents and students on the opening of the new educational institution.

The construction of the new educational facility began in 2024 and was completed according to modern standards. The two-story building includes a gym, classrooms for computer science, physics, and chemistry, a library, a concert hall, a cafeteria, and modern educational equipment.

For children with disabilities, a ramp and an elevator have been provided, creating accessible conditions for learning.

The total cost of construction amounted to 176 million 220 thousand soms, and the project was implemented with financial support from the World Bank.
