
The total income of financial sector organizations for the first nine months of 2025 amounted to 168.2 billion soms, which is 46% (or 53.1 billion soms) more than in the same period of 2024. This increase is largely due to the growth in income of the National Bank and commercial banks.

As a result, during the first nine months of 2025, the financial sector earned more than 64 billion soms in profit, which is almost twice as much as in the same period of 2024. The significant increase in profit was due to the National Bank. Nearly 61% of financial sector organizations reported profits, while about 15% recorded losses.
As of October 1, 2025, the total volume of the loan portfolio of commercial banks and non-bank financial credit organizations exceeded 524 billion soms, with 88% of this volume consisting of loans issued by banks. The main areas of lending were consumer needs (37% of the total volume), trade (22.5%), agriculture (11.5%), and mortgage lending (10.3%).
