According to information from the fire and rescue services of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, 33 units were involved in extinguishing the fires.
The breakdown by region is as follows: 4 fires occurred in the Jalal-Abad region, 5 in the Osh region, 3 in Issyk-Kul, 1 in Batken, 1 in the city of Osh, and 1 in the Talas region.
In addition, rescue services conducted 2 responses to the incidents.
According to the latest weather forecast for December 2, no precipitation is expected across the republic; however, a western wind is predicted, with speeds of 4–9 m/s,” the report notes.
