- According to the National Bank's data, as of the specified date, the net total capital considered in the calculation of economic norms reached 211.3 billion soms, which is an increase of 59.3% compared to the beginning of the year (132.6 billion soms at the end of 2024).

Foreign investments account for 18.9% of the total capital, which is equivalent to 26.4 billion soms (by the end of 2024, this share will be 28.0% or 21.6 billion soms) of the paid-up charter capital of the sector.

The capital adequacy ratio in the banking sector reached 28.3% (compared to 22% at the end of 2024), with a set norm of 12%. The leverage ratio was 15.3% (compared to 11.4%) with a minimum of 6.0%.

The liquidity of the banking system is estimated at 85.5% (compared to 73.1%), with a norm of 45%.

However, profitability indicators have decreased: ROA was 3.7% (compared to 4.3% at the end of 2024), and ROE was 25.6% (down from 32.5%). The level of financial intermediation has increased: assets/GDP — 63.4% (compared to 53.5%), loans/GDP — 26.9% (up from 22.4%), deposits/GDP — 45.1% (compared to 38.9%).
