- During the plenary session of the Jogorku Kenesh on January 21, 2026, Deputy Dastan Jumabekov voiced the problems faced by farmers from the Talas region who were affected by natural disasters.

According to him, the consequences of the disasters impacted about 800 hectares of fields where beans and wheat are grown, with total damages amounting to 55 million soms.

“Support for farmers is necessary, but assistance has not yet been provided. They are struggling to repay loans and other debts,” noted Jumabekov.

Additionally, the deputy pointed out the ongoing decline in bean purchase prices, which significantly worsens the financial situation of local agrarians.

As a possible solution, he suggested considering India as a new market for bean sales, where the products could be sold at favorable prices. However, certain documents and certification are required for this.

Dastan Jumabekov urged the government to provide assistance through the Kyrgyz Embassy in India to establish exports and resolve issues related to the necessary documentation.
