The new school, built in 2023, has not yet been put into operation. The reason is that at the final stage of construction, during the roof installation, the facility was not accepted by the Department of State Architectural and Construction Control of the Issyk-Kul region.
The department had previously warned the contractor, LLC "Energy-Nur Stroy," multiple times regarding the completion of the school construction work.
The incident occurred on the night of January 17 to 18, 2026, due to heavy snowfall, which led to the collapse of part of the roof.
As a result of the incident, the department issued a written warning to the contractor and demanded the restoration of the facility. Currently, the roof has been fully restored. However, a fine of 200,000 soms has been imposed on the company, and the issue of suspending its license will be considered at a commission meeting.
After all necessary inspections by the authorized bodies and obtaining a positive conclusion, the school will be officially put into operation by the Issyk-Kul Regional Department of Architectural and Construction Control.
