During the discussion, the minister emphasized the importance of constructing thermal power plants (TPPs) based on Kyrgyzstan's coal resources.

Representatives of the consortium confirmed their intentions to develop, finance, and construct three thermal power plants with a capacity of 350 MW each, totaling 1050 MW. All projects will be implemented using clean coal technologies that meet international standards. They also noted that they have experience in building similar facilities.

According to the consortium, the implementation of modern technologies will ensure stable, environmentally safe, and continuous electricity generation from coal. To achieve these goals, research on coal deposits is planned, including analysis of ash content, moisture, volatile matter, sulfur, phosphorus, and calorific value of the coal.

Minister Ibraev urged the consortium specialists to conduct the necessary research for the successful implementation of the project and confirmed that the Ministry of Energy would provide support within its authority.
