At a recent meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, the Law "On the Ratification of the Loan Agreement between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Saudi Fund for Development for the project 'Construction of Public Schools' Phase 2" was ratified. The signing of the document took place on October 9, 2025, in Bishkek.
According to the authors of the bill, this agreement includes the construction of 14 educational institutions in Bishkek and the Chui region.
The loan amount is 50 million dollars with an interest rate of 1.5% for a term of 25 years.
