As previously mentioned, in 2025, the total revenue from the sale of fishing tickets and cards reached 13,573,419 soms, significantly surpassing the 3,146,149 soms collected in 2024. This positive result was made possible by the implementation of online sales, reports the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Additionally, limits were established for the Department of Fisheries for recreational and amateur fishing in water bodies of economic significance for the year 2025. These limits were agreed upon with the laboratory of ichthyology and hydrobiology of the Biological Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
To ensure the effective organization of fishing events, agreements were made with public associations and limited liability companies.
Athletes and fishing enthusiasts in the Kyrgyz Republic can easily purchase fishing tickets online. To do this, they need to visit the official website agro.gov.kg in the "Services" section → "Buy Fishing Ticket" or use the direct link to the "Fishing Ticket" page — https://rb.agro.gov.kg/, where they can scan the ELQR code.
Payment can be made through any mobile banking application or electronic wallet.
After a successful transaction, the electronic fishing ticket will be sent to the email address provided by the user during registration and will be valid throughout Kyrgyzstan.
The implementation of the online system has significantly simplified the ticket acquisition process, making it accessible to citizens in all regions of the country, and has also contributed to reducing the use of paper documentation.
In the future, there are plans to continue developing electronic services and strengthening control over compliance with fishing catch limits to preserve biodiversity and ensure the sustainable use of natural resources.
