The former akim of the At-Bashinsky district, Emilbek Abdykadyrov, has been appointed as the akim of the Chuy district in the Chuy region. This was reported by the press service of the President's Administration on January 21.
According to the National Statistical Committee, as of 2025, the population of the At-Bashinsky district is 62,538 people.
