On November 27, 2025, a new office building of the district department of the State National Security Committee for the Issyk-Kul region was opened in the Ton district. This information was provided by representatives of the GKNB.
The new facility is fully equipped with modern technologies, creating optimal conditions for the effective work of military personnel engaged in national security issues. The building is also equipped with necessary communication tools and network equipment.
Kamchybek Tashiev, head of the GKNB, congratulated the employees of the new department and emphasized that as part of ongoing efforts to improve the material and technical base of the special services, it is essential for the work of employees to be open and honest. He noted that the fight against corruption and other forms of illegal activity is under strict control, especially in the security sector.
The Colonel-General wished success to all employees and stressed that the new building of the Ton district department is of significant importance for ensuring the safety of the residents of the district and the entire country.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Chairman of the GKNB Kamchybek Tashiev, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Issyk-Kul region Bakytbek Zhetigenov, as well as local government leaders, veterans of the GKNB, and department employees.
