According to the GKNB, the detention involved employees of correctional institution No. 16 and the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky district.
As part of the initiated criminal case, it was established that employees of the State Penitentiary Service and the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky district received money, hoping to resolve the issue of clemency for one of the convicts. However, despite the funds received, clemency was denied.
An employee of IU-16 of the State Penitentiary Service, known as "Zh.D.", and an employee of the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky district, referred to as "T.N.", seized a large sum of money from the convict of IU-1 of the State Penitentiary Service between December 2024 and April 2025 for the promise of resolving the clemency issue.
On this case, the GSU of the GKNB of the KR initiated a criminal case under Article 209, Part 4, Clause 4 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the KR. Both detainees, "Zh.D." and "T.N.", have been placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB of the KR.
