According to Nurbaev, the key export products are fruits and vegetables, beans, and berry crops. Over the past two years, the areas under these crops have significantly increased in regions such as Chui, Osh, Jalal-Abad, Batken, Talas, and Issyk-Kul.
The head explained that for successful product exports, exporters need to adhere to the common phytosanitary and quarantine standards of the EAEU, which cover all commodity groups—from seedlings to timber. According to him, the process of obtaining a phytosanitary certificate has become more accessible and is mainly carried out in a digital format through the "single window" system.
Nurbaev also noted that the number of cases of product returns by the Rosselkhoznadzor has significantly decreased in recent years. Problems were usually related to errors in accompanying documents and labeling.
