According to the press service of the Internal Affairs Department, a 40-year-old man named T.A., living in the village of Buzhum in the Suu-Bashy ayil district, repeatedly subjected his wife to physical violence.
In 2025, he used force against his wife three times, which forced her to seek protection and obtain a restraining order. In 2026, after yet another incident, the man was detained.
A criminal case has been initiated against him under Article 138 of the Criminal Code, concerning torture. Currently, the suspect is in a temporary detention facility.
Investigative actions are ongoing.
