Among those dismissed was Absattar Syrgaibaev, who had held the position of Minister of Transport since June 2024. According to the publication, he is considered a "foster son" of Kamchybek Tashiev, making him one of the closest figures to the head of the special services in the government.
Additionally, by presidential decree, the Minister of Emergency Situations Boobek Azhikeev, who had been in office since 2020, and the Minister of Ecology Meder Mashiev were also relieved of their duties.
For the vacant positions, the president appointed acting officials whose candidacies will be submitted to the Jogorku Kenesh. The new head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is Urmatbek Shamyrkanov, who previously served as Deputy Minister, while Akyl Toktobaev, the director of the State Enterprise "Gosgeologiya," took over the Ministry of Natural Resources.
The most significant among the personnel changes was the appointment of Talantbek Soltobaev as Minister of Transport. He previously held the position of First Deputy Minister but was detained in September of this year on the direct orders of Kamchybek Tashiev.
