At the meeting of the city council of Osh, held to review the results of last year's work, the head of the cabinet of ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, expressed concern about the low level of direct foreign investment in Osh in 2025.
According to him, from January to September 2025, the volume of investments amounted to only 1.2 million US dollars. This is 44.1% less compared to the previous year, 2024.
Kasymaliev emphasized that such figures indicate an insufficiently favorable investment climate in the city and the presence of serious difficulties in attracting investments.
