President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree appointing Chyngyz Eshimbekov as the General Consul of Kyrgyzstan in Chicago, USA. This information was published by the press service of the president's office.
It should be noted that the previous general consul, Bolotbek Borbiev, was relieved of his duties in October 2025.
Prior to this appointment, from 2019 to 2023, Eshimbekov served as the ambassador of Kyrgyzstan in Qatar.
