The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, has approved the Law "On Combating Corruption," which aims to prevent corrupt actions and manage the associated risks. This law, resulting from the work of the Jogorku Kenesh, comes into effect as an important step towards reforming the anti-corruption system in the country.
According to information from the Prosecutor General's Office, the new law introduces mechanisms for analyzing corruption risks, strengthens preventive measures, and provides for the digitalization of the accounting of offenses. It also includes anti-corruption expertise of regulatory acts and the establishment of interagency coordination councils within the prosecutor's office.
