"In the holy month of Ramadan and before God, I declare openly: I had no relation to intrigues or the collection of signatures under the appeal of seventy-five elders," he emphasized.

According to Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, the letter that caused public resonance appeared in the media while he was on a visit to Turkey, and he learned of its existence only later.

The former speaker shared that he has recently faced health issues and has been undergoing treatment. Due to this, he decided to leave politics to focus on his health recovery and personal matters, making the decision to resign his parliamentary mandate early.

He expressed gratitude to his constituents for their trust and apologized for his premature departure from parliament. Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu noted that during his leadership of the Jogorku Kenesh, many significant laws for the country were adopted, and all his decisions were made in the interests of the state and the people.

In conclusion of his address, he called on citizens for unity and political stability, emphasizing that time will provide a final assessment of all the events that have occurred.

It should be recalled that earlier a group of public figures and officials appealed to President Sadyr Japarov and Speaker Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu with a request to urgently initiate new presidential elections. This appeal was signed by 75 people, five of whom were later detained by law enforcement agencies.

Following this, the head of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), Kamchybek Tashiev, was dismissed. The president, commenting on this decision, noted that it was related to the actions of the authors of the "appeal of 75 people." There was also information about a possible resignation of the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, but this information was denied in parliament.

Nevertheless, just two days after the dismissal of the head of the GKNB, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu announced his voluntary resignation from the position of speaker.
