Hiking and Trip Calendar of the Union for the weekends of April 2015.
1. The formation of the group and the final plan for the hike are approved on Thursdays (the day before the weekend hike) from 14:00 to 19:00. For more detailed questions, please contact the Union's office.
2. During the current month, Union members can suggest additional hikes that are not listed in the calendar, or some trips may be changed depending on weather conditions. More accurate information about changes and additions to hikes can be clarified at the Union's office on Thursdays.
3. Mandatory equipment for a one-day hike: Good hiking boots, windbreaker jacket, rain jacket, sunglasses, trekking poles, and a backpack of 25-30 liters.
4. The trip will take place in any weather, but the route may be changed at the group's decision.

Canyons of the Red Bridge (Aeolian Castles)
One-day hike to the canyons of red sandstones (“Aeolian Castles”) from the Boom Gorge, viewing natural sculptures. 130 km from Bishkek.

Participation in the Annual Alpinism 2015!
Two-day trip to Ala-Archa National Park, ascent to Peak Komsomolets 4204 m, one night in tents, return to Bishkek on the evening of the second day. The total length of the walking route is 15-16 km, maximum elevation gain is 2000 m. Departure at 14:00, April 30, 2015.
- Categorized ascent “1B” for mountaineering. Mandatory equipment – Good hiking boots, windbreaker jacket, rain jacket, sunglasses, trekking poles, and a backpack of 25-30 liters.
- The Union covers the costs of the kitchen tent, gas burners, kettles, and part of the transport.

Registration and payment for participation in the alpinism must be completed by April 28, and equipment should be reserved in advance.

Dear Union members, we invite you to travel outside our republic and visit the holy places of Kazakhstan.
Three-day trip to the southern Kazakh city of Turkestan, Mausoleum of Arystan-Baba,
visit to the Shymkent Zoo, acquaintance with the city of Taraz (formerly known as Jambul).
Day 1 (05/01) – Departure at 03:00 AM, crossing the Kyrgyz-Kazakh customs point in the village of Chaldovar, visiting the mausoleum of Aisha Bibi on the way, transfer to the city of Shymkent for a 2-2.5 hour tour of the zoo, transfer to the village of Kogash. Accommodation in the hotel complex of the Mausoleum of Arystan-Baba.
Day 2 (05/02) – After breakfast, transfer to the city of Turkestan, city tour of Turkestan, visiting the mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, mausoleum of Rabia Sultan Begim (15th century).
Day 3 (05/03) – Departure at 04:00 AM from the hotel and transfer to the city of Taraz, and a short walk around the city. After the walk, transfer to Bishkek.
Length of the auto route: 1500 km
- Cost of accommodation in the hotel for 2 nights is 2000 som per person, excluding meals.
- Estimated food expenses are 2000 – 2200 som, which includes 2 breakfasts, 3 lunches, and 2 dinners.

May 1-5, 2015 (Fri-Tue)
Lake Sary-Chelek, mausoleum of Shah Fazil, Arslanbob, Uzgen mausoleum, and the city of Osh.
Five-day trip to southern Kyrgyzstan visiting Lake Sary-Chelek, Arslanbob Waterfall (height 80 m), Uzgen Mausoleum, city of Osh, Sulaiman Too, Abshyr-Sai Waterfall in the Nookat district.
Day 1. Early morning departure from Bishkek, lunch in Chychkan, overnight camping on the shore of Lake Sary-Chelek.
Day 2. Hiking around the lakes of Sary-Chelek: Iyri-Kol, Choychok-Kol, Kylak-Kol, Aram-Kol, and Tuyuk-Kol. Overnight camping on the shore of Lake Sary-Chelek.
Day 3. Transfer to Arslanbob via the mausoleum of Shah Fazil. Overnight stay in a guesthouse in the village of Arslanbob.
Day 4. Morning hike to the waterfall, transfer to the city of Osh, visiting Uzgen Mausoleum on the way. Overnight stay in a guesthouse in Osh.
Day 5. After breakfast, city tour, visiting Sulaiman Too and walking around the city of Osh. After lunch, transfer to Bishkek.
- Length of the auto route: 2000 km, walking route: 12-15 km
- Cost of one set of equipment for three days (tent, sleeping bag, mat) 800 som/person (for members of the "Union..." 500 som/person).
- Cost of accommodation + breakfast in Arslanbob and Osh – total 1500 som.
