The Plenipotentiary Conference of the International Telecommunication Union in 2014 is taking place in Busan, South Korea.
About 3000 people are participating, representing almost all member states of the ITU.
The conference is held once every four years and determines the main directions of policy in the field of ICT. During PC-14, elections will also be held for the Secretary-General, his deputies, bureau directors, members of the Radio Regulations Board, and the highest political body of the ITU - its Council.
Kyrgyzstan is a candidate for the ITU Council this year.
