On September 17, a ceremonial raising of the flag of the Kyrgyz Republic took place in the Olympic village of the 17th Asian Games (Incheon, South Korea). The ceremony was attended by sports delegations from Kyrgyzstan, Indonesia, Jordan, Malaysia, Nepal, and the Maldives.
The mayor of the Olympic village, Eliza Lee, addressed the athletes with a welcoming speech. She wished them successful performances and good luck in the upcoming competitions.
Afterward, the mayor presented a commemorative gift to all the heads of delegations, including the Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Kyrgyzstan, Kanat Amankulov. In turn, he presented Eliza Lee with a commemorative gift in gratitude.
At the end, the teams took a photo with the mayor of the Olympic village.
