According to Turdumambetov, he has already filed an official complaint with the General Prosecutor's Office and addressed to President Sadyr Japarov.
The politician intended to participate in the parliamentary elections scheduled for November 2025 and had already submitted all the necessary documents to the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums. As an electoral deposit, he contributed 300,000 soms.
However, as the former deputy stated, these funds were not returned to him.

Turdumambetov reported that his team had already headed to Toktogul, where an election headquarters was opened, to begin preparations for campaigning. However, on November 2, while he was on his way to Toktogul, employees of the State National Security Committee detained him in Kara-Balta. After that, he was taken to Bishkek and, as he claims, was pressured and escorted to the Central Election Commission. There, he was offered to sign a statement refusing to participate in the elections "of his own accord."
After signing this document, he was prohibited from sharing information about the events on social media. Osmon Turdumambetov also expressed concerns about possible provocations and pressure on his supporters and campaigners.

Additionally, he noted that some candidates might be involved in what is happening, but he hopes for an official investigation. In his opinion, if a criminal case is initiated, it will be possible to establish all the circumstances and roles of the participants in the incident.
Turdumambetov expressed hope for a review of the election results in district No. 14 and for the organization of a repeat vote.
In the past, Osmon Turdumambetov held various positions in the Tax Service, including head in the Moscow, Issyk-Ata, and Lenin districts. From 2020 to 2021, he was a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh from the "Onuguu-Progress" party.
We remind you that the elections for deputies of the VIII convocation took place on November 30 of last year.
